If work-life balance is something most adults struggle with, maybe it’s time to give our kids the tools to build their own ideas about organization. The work-life balance is individual for each of us. “Balance” does not always mean “equal” in regards to work-life symbiosis.

How can we let our children understand more about our careers:

• If your workplace encourages “bring your kid to work” especially during spring break, utilize it. This enables your children to understand more about your workplace culture.
• There are also a lot of co-working spaces that allow your children to accompany you daily.
• Talk about the positives with your children and your passions so that you are always having a dialogue about your day-to-day world.
